As Infrastructure Security Engineer, you will be working in an international setting working on the direction and implementation of cybersecurity solutions within the global infrastructure environment. You will act as trusted advisor to provide technical security expertise and guidance for all the infrastructure components together with Ambu personnel and IT vendors. The infrastructure environment is undergoing development with the latest Microsoft SIEM technologies, but it will also be an advantage if you have understanding of other technologies that are used at Ambu (e.g. Linux, Dockers, Containers, Pipelines, serverless infrastructure). To succeed in this position, you should have solid technical experience and a sincere interest in cybersecurity and infrastructure and be able to excel at both operations and project-driven work.

You will be part of Ambu’s Corporate Business IT, and day-to-day within IT Operations which operates the global infrastructure setup at Ambu. You will work with a number of Ambu colleagues and our IT vendors on a day-to-day basis. Furthermore, you will be involved in on-going cybersecurity initiatives across Ambu’s IT organization.

Areas of responsibility will include
- Take a technical lead role in driving internal infrastructure security and privacy initiatives
- Maintain, implement and ensuring operations of infrastructure security by interacting and following up with multiple security vendors across IT operations landscape
- Interact directly with the IT operations and IT leadership team regarding infrastructure security vulnerabilities and threats
- Understand the infrastructure security threat level and propose new tooling to improve cybersecurity maturity
Team

We believe the ideal candidate has the following competencies
- 3+ years of experience with infrastructure cybersecurity tooling
- Experience defining and driving new cybersecurity infrastructure tooling initiatives
- A solid understanding of IT security, security risk management, infrastructure security and tooling
- Knowledge of Microsoft environments with complementing knowledge on other technologies, e.g. Linux, Dockers, serverless infrastructure
- Familiarity with various IT / Security technologies including DNS, DHCP, MS Exchange, Firewalls, VPN Gateways, IPS, Proxy, Endpoint Security, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, etc.
- At least a Bachelor degree within IT, or comparable education
- Experience working in a regulated industry is an advantage
- Fluency in English
