Core Responsibilities
As our new IT Consultant, you will join our agile development team and develop supply chain management software, to complete value as prioritized by the Product Owner. To do this you will:
• Pair with other colleagues and learn the software development process and life cycle of a feature request
• Continue to learn and hone skills as software engineer
• Focus on depth of knowledge and expertise in a certain language, tool set and area of the stack
• Get insight and learn the business structures and processes in a full value chain company

Manufacturing & Supply Chain Technologies (MST) deliver end-to-end digital IT products and services to the Corporate Operations area. The organization consists of a number of teams, each with a distinct ownership of portfolio products and services.
The MST Demand & Fulfilment Technology team supports the end-to-end products consumed by the global Demand Planning and global Order Fulfilment areas in the business. This includes innovating and building the future Global Demand Planning and Order Fulfilment platform and processes.
Do you have what it takes
The ideal candidate has a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree within Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
More specifically you have:
• 3 -4 years of experience developing Supply Chain Management software, e.g. SAP SCM
• Solid understanding of the processes of Demand Planning, Global Available to Promise and Back Order Processing
• A good understanding of Sales & Distribution processes
• Interest in and aptitude for great UX
• Knowledge or experience with design and development of products through agile methods
• Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts with both technical and functional teams
You communicate effortless in English and to be the perfect fit, you are a phenomenal teammate considering teamwork a natural part of your everyday life.
We are looking for someone with a natural curiosity, and interest in optimizing processes within supply chain and a huge mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
This role will take you travelling approx. 15-25 days per year.
