Sr. discipline engineer – Mechanical
Do you have offshore construction engineering, or supervisor skills?
Semco Maritime is looking for an experienced employee with a mechanical background to fill in an onshore position for our external customer.
We offer
A challenging job in an international and everchanging environment. You will be an important part of the group that manages offshore scope of work.
You will be part of a team with extensive fabrication, construction, and installation backgrounds. A high level of practical and entrepreneurial project skills is required.
The group is currently preparing for a major offshore scope in the Danish North Sea. The offshore scope of work is a combination of maintenance and modification tasks.
Key responsibilities and tasks:
+5 years offshore experience
Job brief writing for blacksmiths and scaffolding people
Mechanical / structural Work preparer
Estimation of time and manpower requirements
Commenting on design
Experience with planning preferably Primavera or MS Project
Experience with SAP and preferably PIMS
Compliance with HSEQ, Engineering packages and procedures
Cost estimates
Work breakdown structures
Who we are looking for:
You have extensive offshore experience and a piping, mechanical or structural background. We expect the ideal candidate to have the following qualities and skills:
Engineer (marine, mechanical, structural), blacksmith or similar
Practical experience as an onshore/offshore discipline engineer
Experienced in work breakdown and in estimating installations
P&ID and technical drawings understanding
Able to communicate well in both Danish and English
A structured, proactive and systematic approach and can take responsibility
Adaptive to change
Flexible and work Independently
Offshore certificates HUET, MIST, H2S, CA-EBS would be an advantage
