Your position
As our new Site Engineer at Semco Maritime you will join an experienced, highly skilled and passionate team of power engineers in our Renewables division. This team has been responsible for creating one of the largest project portfolios within offshore substations worldwide.
Our market areas include Europe, Asia and the USA, so you will carry out the exciting job of traveling across the globe visiting and supervising the sites.
Your tasks & responsibilities
You will be involved in the construction of offshore and onshore systems and distribution/transmission projects world-wide. You, together with your team will be responsible for installations, tests and commissioning of medium voltage and high voltage projects.

You will be involved in the construction of offshore and onshore systems and distribution/transmission projects world-wide. You, together with your team will be responsible for installations, tests and commissioning of medium voltage and high voltage projects.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Traveling to the sites and carrying out tests
- Supervising installation teams
- Handling contracts with skilled workers
- Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Providing advice and problem solving on-site
Your profile & qualifications
We imagine that you are an ambitious and talented professional with a keen eye for detail. You are also a dedicated team player with a positive attitude as well as good commercial awareness and managerial skills.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you:
- Have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, marine engineering or similar
- Preferably have prior hands-on experience as an electrician or similar
- Have experience working with staff and supplier contracts
- Possess a safety-first mindset
- Would like to work in an international setting where a lot of traveling is required to go to the sites
- Have effective interpersonal skills and great communication skills in English
