AASTED is a worldwide market- leading manufacturer of production solutions within the chocolate, bakery, and confectionery industries, and we are now looking for our new Installation and Commissioning Manager.
About the team
As our Installation and Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated Field engineers, travelling out from Denmark. You will be leading them from a distance from our headquarters in DK, and you will report to our Head of Aftersales.
About the job
As our I&C Manager, you will contribute to the planning and marketing of our service activities throughout the customer's life cycle. You will support our customers and colleagues in the best possible way so that we achieve the best customer experience through the project implementation.
In close cooperation with Project Managers and Project Planner, you will ensure timely planning and coordination of all on-site activities. You will play a part in developing the organization and employee, to be able to install, commission, and hand over all projects with as little involvement from other departments as possible. Together with the Head of Aftersales, you will continuously work on optimizing the entire process to enable the on-site teams to conduct their tasks as efficiently and professionally as possible.
The job contains the following responsibilities and tasks:
About you
You have strong leadership potential or skills and a safety mindset first. You have experience leading multicultural teams at a distance. Technically, you have solid experience installing, commissioning, and servicing technical installations, covering mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
You are used to working with customer projects and have a commercial flair that enables you to understand the dependencies on actions on-site and their impact on the agreed conditions with the customer.
Your work is characterized by proactiveness and a high degree of integrity, you communicate easily with your team and other stakeholders, and you are particularly skilled in customer communication. You are self-driven, are motivated by delivering high-quality projects, and enjoy working in an informal and international environment.
Finally, you are an experienced user of Microsoft Office, and you communicate easily in English.

- Contribute to the I&C team achieving the planned annual turnover
- participate in meetings with customers on matters relevant to I&C
- Plan work on-site in collaboration with project managers and project planners
- Create the optimal organizational setup for the team so that there is a balance in workload and available resources
- Continuous training of our field engineers
- Collect and share best practices and knowledge
- Administration and ad-hoc tasks
- Staff responsibility, including hiring, training, employee development, employee interviews, appraisals, etc.
About you
