Can you ignite natures finest?

If you’re the kind of person who likes to do the same thing every day, working at Scandinavian Tobacco Group is not for you. It takes a team of quick minds to develop and thrive in our business, and we look for smart, tenacious people, who will go that extra mile — every single day! In return for your engagement and curiosity we will provide great leadership, global challenges and an opportunity to sharpen your skills.

The role as Global Process Owner - Hire to Retire (H2R)
Scandinavian Tobacco Group is transforming the way the Group is organized, working and doing business. Group HR is going through a transformation, where new profiles are being on-boarded to deliver on the increasing needs for global standardized processes, quality data and insights. We are looking for an ambitious Global Process Owner with a global and innovative mindset, to drive and implement global and standardized hire to retire process. You find passion and motivation in maneuvering in a cross-functional environment and have a proactive approach towards strengthening our processes across our Global HR community.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Process design (including process mapping), process monitoring and process improvement.

    • It is your responsibility to map the H2R process, define the required process, identify key areas for improvement, implement improvement initiatives, and monitor and measure these initiatives.

  • Implementation management, including stakeholder engagement and training for users.

    • Because the process improvement will depend upon the successful adoption by users from both HR and the business, change management, communication and training is key. Users should receive regular training to refresh their skills with existing processes, and to help them understand any system changes and any new processes.

  • Monitor user compliance.

    • This is the process of tracking where, and how well, the required process is being followed by the users.

The right person can work from anyone of our offices across Europe and US, but our headquarters and primary stakeholders will be in the greater Copenhagen area in Denmark. You will be reporting to our Director of HR Technology, Processes and insights. Our scope is global, and you should therefore anticipate approx. 10-20 travel days per year, to which you will have some influence on when they are scheduled.

What is needed to succeed?
It is essential that you have a mind which understands process, that you have the ability to scrutinize the current H2R process and have the analytical mind to quickly see what are the obstacles to run global and standardized processes. In addition to this:

  • 3-4 years of process design/mapping/improvement experience is optimal in addition to your functional experience

  • Strong business acumen working in an international landscape

  • In-depth knowledge or all H2R processes

  • Change management experience

  • Solid theoretical background and mastering the corporate language (English)

  • Ability to maneuver in a multicultural/global atmosphere and company

You thrive in a transforming and changing environment. You love learning and trying new things, and you are excited about bringing your ideas to the table and taking ownership of your work. You are honest and dependable, and committed to empowering others. You are passionate about doing a great job.

About Global HR
The Global HR team is involved in the world-wide business of Scandinavian Tobacco Group which includes manufacturing sites and subsidiaries in approx. 20 countries and export sales to more than 100 countries. The Global HR team includes 60+ dedicated employees located across our Group, from South East Asia across Europe to the Americas.
