Are you a highly motivated technical engineer, driven by challenges and responsibility? Do you want to be part of preparing our production for the future? Then you may be the Technical Lead we are looking for in Aseptic Production in Biotech & Rare Disease. The position In this specialist position as Technical Lead you will be part of our skilled technical support team and you will be leading the work of improving the technical stability of the filling line and related equipment through continuous improvement. The team is a good combination of senior and junior employees from diverse backgrounds, who are talented and motivated by learning new things, while also having fun together. Your tasks will include: Develop, maintain, and drive a system for Systematic Problem Solving (SPS) and continuous improvements. Drive the improvements and changes to the equipment together with the craftsmen team and engineers. Solve problems from the ongoing production. Implement new equipment. Provide technical knowledge. There is usually a good mixture of the above tasks during a day, hence you have time at your office desks, as well as doing work in the production. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: An academic degree within mechanical engineering or similar. +3 years of technical experience in solving complex technical problems. Preferably experience from filling lines in an aseptic production in GMP-regulated environment. The ability to set direction for the technical performance on the line. Full professional proficiency in English. As a person you are action-oriented person with a positive and friendly attitude. You are curious about our processes and are willing to learn. Also, you are able to motivate and lead the team. Furthermore, you have strong communication skills.
About the department Our team is part of the BRD Finished Products Gentofte and Vaarloese area that is the production site situated close to Copenhagen. Here we are app. 620 colleagues who take responsibility for transforming Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients into the finished product that patients can use all over the world. We are producing at full speed on existing lines while building and ramping up new state of the art facilities. Our complex processes require a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and include formulation, filling, freeze-drying, product inspection, assembly and pack. We bring value to patients by delivering high-quality Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) compliant products in a timely and cost-efficient manner. We drive change by working actively with LEAN and always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
