The position
As a production planner you will be responsible for securing stable production as well as the daily planning tasks in production and projects in an organization for new filling lines in Gentofte. Through planning you ensure an optimal base for utilization of production lines and equipment. It is your responsibility to ensure visibility around the production status and challenges, as well as to inform management and employees about this, so that timely decisions can be made. Planning of the production lines happens in a close collaboration between production, support, and planners. You will have dialogues across functions with the production, support, and project departments, as well as our team leaders in, and around, the production. Your primary tasks will be: Development of daily production planning
Development of capacity planning in collaboration with operations
Development and optimization of tools and processes used in planning
Prepare the organization for future 24/7 production by developing structure and flow in process and communication that supports this
Qualifications
To be successful in the job, you have: An academic bachelor's degree in production planning, supply chain, engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience from a similar position and preferably for larger industrial companies
Extensive experience with Excel and SAP and preferably experiences with PAS-X and Styx
Proficiency at a business level in both spoken/written English and Danish
Interest in operational optimization, project production and passionate about creating an efficient flow

About the department
Business Support Department is part of the Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Finished Products Gentofte and Vaerloese area, that is the production site situated close to Copenhagen. Here we are app. 620 colleagues who take responsibility for transforming Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients into the finished product that patients can use all over the world. We are producing at full speed on existing lines while building and ramping up new state of the art facilities. Our Business Support Department supports the production areas with Portfolio and Project Management, Planning and Scheduling, Business Intelligence and Warehousing. Working at Novo Nordisk
