The position As our Engineering Project Manager, you will be situated within Intralogistics, AP Expansion and will be responsible for developing the future standard for intralogistics in our future factories which is situated in China, Europe and US. You will be responsible for the engineering and validation activities, ensuring the same standards are scaled out to the sites. Activities will include: Understanding and own the intralogistics standard. Corporation with our vendors, to ensure they follow our schedule. Help the sites get the intralogistics solutions into operations. Ensure that our Science and risk-based validation is documented and applied in a standardised way. Planning and executing all related tasks/processes using standard project tools. Your workplace will be based Gentofte but as there is collaboration required on a global scale with our sites based in Europe, China, and US, some international travel will be required. It is estimated this will be a 2/3 days per month. Sometimes you may be travelling for prolonged 1-2 weeks periods if travel is required to our global sites. Qualifications Your experiences include: A technical degree within engineering, pharmaceutical science or similar. 3+ years of experience within automation and engineering. It is an advantage if this experience includes Science and risk-based validation knowledge from the pharmaceutical industry. Strong leadership and project management skills with experience executing projects on a global scale. Great stakeholder management skills and building relations in a global context. As a person, you have a focus on quality, have a problem-solving approach and the drive to create new solutions/ standards and challenge the status quo. With a visionary and innovative outlook, you can look to the future to help promote process optimisation and digitalisation alongside colleagues. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills to build relations cross functionally and globally. For this position, you are required to be fluent in spoken and written English. As you will be working globally with different local sites, US, France and China, language skills within these areas would be a bonus! About the department
You will be joining AP Expansions, which stands for expansions of Aseptic Production (AP). The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. AP Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. AP Expansions has a clearly global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world. Intralogistics is a newly established department… Whilst reporting into the Senior Manager in Intralogistic, you will have the opportunity to work alongside 12 consultants helping shape the organisation. Our main goal is to develop a Intralogistic standard covering all material handling from goods in to good out of the factories. This means that we need to design the process very thoroughly to ensure all interfaces are designed in the best possible ways. Working at Novo Nordisk
