The position
As a Project Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of implementing a cutting-edge technology standard that will be replicated and built across multiple facilities within the Aseptic Production (AP) Expansion program.
Your expertise will be vital in driving projects within engineering processes, facility design and/or utility systems, with the goal of delivering a world-class solution within an ambitious timeframe. You'll work closely with Work Package Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and international stakeholders to integrate company experience with state-of-the-art aseptic production technology.
The key tasks will include: • Project management including design solution for utilities with focus on adherence to the aseptic standards
• Ensuring that the team has the needed overview of activities to ensure a proactively balancing of competent resources to handle the tasks
• Coordination with individual sites to ensure the adoption of optimal solutions
• Planning global workshops and supervision
• Preparing procurement strategy for equipment and control, providing support to individual sites during implementation
• Promotion of sustainability principles in the design according to Novo Nordisk’s Circular for Zero strategy
In addition to running projects in your designated area, you'll have to collaborate across multiple business areas and thrive with the interdisciplinary coordination. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
• An academical degree within Engineering, Life Sciences, or similar education
• +3 years of experience within the area design, engineering, maintenance, and validation
• Understanding of schedules and dependencies
• Proven record of working in a complex stakeholder environment
• An excellent command of verbal and written English
If you have gained experience within the pharmaceutical or other GMP controlled industry and are familiar with the SRV validation concept, it will be seen as an advantage.
As a person, you take initiative naturally and have a strong personal drive. You thrive in a changing and dynamic environment and able to maintain attention to detail and are structured when it comes to problem-solving. Furthermore, you have good stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relations on a global scale and embrace professional and personal diversity.
About the department You will be joining AP Expansion, which stands for expansions of Aseptic Production. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees.
AP Expansion is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. AP Expansions has a clearly global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
