As Cleanroom Professional, you will be a key player in specifying and defining the cleanroom solution, together with our Central Manufacturing Development team, the Senior Project Manager, Subject Matter Experts, and other specialists within the FF Expansions programme. You will play an important role in ensuring that the cleanroom solution is state of the art when brought into production, compliant to regulatory requirements now and in the future as well one we can be proud of in 20 years. The Facility work package is responsible for designing the facility surrounding the aseptic filling process, incl. cleanroom interior solutions for Class C and CNC areas. The package is responsible for managing the design phase and ensuring state-of-the-art solutions that will impress visitors for years to come. The key tasks will include: Design of cleanroom solutions in Novo Nordisk’s future AP facilities. Working with the technical tracks to ensure key functionalities and design principles are highlighted and documented. Involvement in vendor oversight during the equipment design, build and test phases. Setting the direction to ensure a risk-based approach to validation and maintaining the validated state of the equipment (including maintenance strategy approach).
The position will involve collaborating with our global sites, to facilitate this, some travel would be expected for the position which is estimated at 5-7 trips per year. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, your experiences include: An academical degree within Engineering, Life Sciences, or similar education Proven track record of experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Experience in cleanroom processes and project involvement. It is advantageous if you have experience with validation and commissioning of GMP facilities. An excellent command of verbal and written English; command of Danish or French in addition is a plus as some traveling to France, USA and within Denmark might be required. As a person, you take initiative naturally and have a strong personal drive and quality mindset and a drive to create the “right” solutions while challenging the status quo. You thrive in a changing and dynamic environment and able to demonstrate attention to detail and are structured when it comes to problem-solving. Furthermore, you have good stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relations on a global scale and embrace professional and personal diversity. About the department
You will be joining FF Expansions, which stands for expansions of Fill Finish facilities. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. FF Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new production capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the fill and finish production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. FF Expansions has a clearly global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
Engineering & Facility is a department in the newly created area of FF Expansions which is anchored within Product Supply, Quality and IT, which globally accounts for +19,000 of Novo Nordisk’s +44,000 employees. The responsibility of FF Expansion is to plan and execute the establishment of new aseptic filling capacity across the global manufacturing network within BioTech and Rare Diseases (BRD) and Injectable Finished Products (IFP) for new filling platforms while ensuring harmonisation and global standards. Across the different roles there is a distinct global aspect as the end goal is a global standard and best practice, and working with multiple sites, cultures and traditions will be a key element.
