The position As Asset Management and Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for building a department that can develop and execute asset management strategies and best practices that optimize the performance, reliability, and lifecycle costs of our production assets. Specifically, you will be working with the Finished Production area which consists of assembly and packaging lines for finished products. These lines are running at production sites around the world. You will report to the CVP of FPM Engineering. Your main responsibilities will be focused on:
  • Leading the global deployment of asset management best practices, tools, and methodologies, such as ISO 55000, RCM, FMEA, RCA, TPM, and CBM/PdM

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, such as site leaders, operations managers, maintenance teams, engineering groups, suppliers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure alignment and integration of asset management and reliability objectives and activities

  • Defining the scope, strategies, and roadmaps for your department to achieve stated objectives.

  • Communicating and create awareness and followship around the principles of asset management at the production sites and other central organisations

  • Establishing and monitor asset performance indicators, such as availability, reliability, maintainability, and asset health, identifying and prioritizing asset reliability risks and opportunities and develop action plans to mitigate or eliminate them.

  • Building capability to perform site assessments to asset management standards

  • Your department will work closely with site partners, operations managers, maintenance teams, and engineering groups to ensure alignment and consistency in reliability across our global network of production sites. You will also lead the implementation of reliability improvement initiatives, asset performance monitoring systems, and asset management standards and policies. Qualifications To be a competitive candidate, you should have:
  • Bachelor's and / or master’s degree in engineering, maintenance, or related field

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in asset management and reliability, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience

  • Proven track record of leading and delivering successful asset management and reliability projects and programs and driving operational excellence and continuous improvement

  • Strong knowledge and expertise in asset management and reliability principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices, such as ISO 55000, RCM, FMEA, RCA, TPM, and CBM

  • Professional proficiency in English

  • As a person, you are flexible, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You are highly analytical, problem-solving, and you have decision-making skills, identifying and resolving complex and critical issues. You have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization having strong leadership, management, and coaching skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams. Some international travel will be expected (up to 30% of the time) About the department FPM Engineering is a part of Finished Product Manufacturing (FPM) with a team of around 50 colleagues working together to support and optimise processes across all global sites. Our primary responsibility is to drive performance in FPM on all assembly and packaging lines to ensure best practices. In FPM Engineering, we are committed to bringing value to our patients. We do so by supporting all sites with process standardisation, ramp-up excellence and technological leadership enabling Novo Nordisk to serve significantly more patients in need of our products.
