Would you like to define, build and lead your own brand-new IT function in an environment where nothing is business as usual?
We’re taking giant leaps, going from traditional IT deliveries to flexible, scalable, and fast-paced deliveries to keep up with a fast-changing world. And part of this is the creation of an IT function that you will spearhead.

We cover 4 vital delivery areas, including warehouse management systems, automations solutions and connected applications.
The connected application product platform focuses on all internal management systems enabling everything from recruitment and time registration to internal reporting and much, much more.
With new demands, legislations and world challenges being a constant for us, we are continuously working to improve our IT so it can keep up and keep ahead. And therefore, we are looking to streamline the portfolio as well as reengineer many of our individual technologies, our roadmap, and our life cycle management.
Global IT, of which DSV Solutions IT is part, is a growing and integral part of the operations of DSV, one of the world’s largest logistics providers. Together, we are around 2000 employees spread across various countries and regions all over the world, giving us a truly global presence.

Define, create, lead
In order to modernise and expand the portfolio, you will need a team – one that does not exist yet. While we already have excellent programmers, product owners and other brilliant minds at DSV working on connected applications, it will be up to you to gather them all into a brand-new team, hire even more and lead them towards success.
What the team will look like, how they will work, and much more will depend on your leadership style and vision for our connected applications. You will, however, have very clear goals, which include building and leading a team with end-to-end delivery capabilities, from support to security, architecture, and governance.
More specifically, you will:

With our constant focus on performance and optimisation, it is important that you are highly curious, that you never stop wanting to learn more and that you are always driven to take action when opportunities present themselves. Fast action is the key to success here. Not that you need to be working 24/7/365, but in the sense of never leaving a good opportunity laying idle.

You will, however, have very clear goals, which include building and leading a team with end-to-end delivery capabilities, from support to security, architecture, and governance.
More specifically, you will:
- Define the structure and set-up of the team and drive the build-up over the next year
- Continue leading and developing the team, which includes personnel responsibilities, e.g., hire/fire, one-to-ones etc.
- Foster a culture of proactivity, innovation, and modern approaches to IT within the team
- Explore and develop new business opportunities for the connected application product platform
- Establish, maintain, and ensure delivery of the overall products roadmap and strategy of the connected application product platform

Apart from that, we are very open in terms of what your background may be – no specific titles or degrees are necessary, as long as you have:
- Solid leadership experience and the ability to lead others through encouragement, feedback, and performance development
- Sound technological knowledge, not at coding level, but enough to understand our systems and analyse them to identify key issues and formulate conclusions
- Excellent communication skills in English, as you will often collaborate with colleagues across borders and even travel approx. 25 days per year
