About the department

Diabetes Finished Products in Novo Nordisk is seeking an engaged student for a salaried internship to site Hillerød. Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) represents a global part of the Novo Nordisk organisation, employing approximately 6,200 employees in Denmark, China, Brazil, France, and USA. This is an opportunity to join our Finance & EHS team in Business Support DFP Hillerød. The role of Business Support is to provide operational support, develop processes and systems, and lead business development projects across DFP Hillerød.

The Finance & EHS team, which consists of 11 dedicated employees and is known for striving for excellence, openness towards innovation and focus on stakeholder relations. Collaboration is a key for our success meaning that we are successful when the site is successful.

The position

We are looking for a talented Business Intelligence Intern, ready to be involved in a broad variety of tasks and projects across the team. Among multiple tasks you will primarily support the functions at the site by designing and handling different visualizations of data according to their needs. You will mainly work with Alteryx and Tableau delivering concrete results that ensure organisational performance, control, and business transparency. You will also be engaged in various data analyses, both financial as well as business outcome parameters to ensure optimal performance. As a Business Intelligence Intern, you can expect to be challenged in delivering strong and profound results in the Business Intelligence area with real business impact across DFP Hi.

  • Internship period: 6 months with a possibility of an extension of 6 more months.
  • Working hours: Full-time but flexible for the right candidate (37 hours a week)
  • Start date: as soon as possible
  • Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full-time work permit is required

Qualifications

You are currently pursuing a master’s or a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or another relevant subject, and have shown excellent results during your studies. You thrive with analytical tasks and have a sharp eye for details.

You work easily with IT applications such as Excel and PowerPoint and see challenges such as technical troubles or knowledge limitations as an opportunity to learn more. Perhaps you know tools such as SQL, Alteryx or Tableau or see yourself as a fast learner.

You are fluent in English and have strong communication skills written and verbally. You are outgoing, structured and see yourself as an executer who gets the job done on time without compromising the quality in your deliverables.

You enjoy building new solutions for your customers and you take a pride in helping your colleagues across various functions in a global oriented business. Provided the necessary support from experienced colleagues, you are capable of initiating and driving innovative improvements in an international supply chain context. You deliver solutions when they are needed and enjoy working in an informal atmosphere where flexibility and responsibility goes hand in hand.
