The working hours are flexible from min. 18 to max. 37 hours a week enabling you to combine an internship with lectures at

university, project work or writing your bachelor / master’s thesis. It is an opportunity for a unique learning experience and a chance to

turn theories into practice.

About the department

You get the opportunity to join Diabetes Finished Products in Hillerød, Denmark. You will join a highly motivated, high performing and skilled team, responsible for optimizing and maintaining high volume Assembly production lines. In close collaboration with key stakeholders within the organization, we constantly strive for optimization of the production equipment by running systematic problem solving and minor projects. Currently the team consists of 8 employees all with technical background and we collaborate to a high degree with colleagues in other teams.

The position

You will support our Process supports and skilled workers at the Assembly production lines. In this role you will perform targeted problem solving and participate in improvement activities. You will be working in collaboration with experienced supporters or you will drive your own activities.

  • Internship period: 3-6 months
  • Working hours: Flexible (min. 18 and max. 37 hours a week)
  • Start date: 01 August 2020
  • Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full time work permit is required

Qualifications

We are looking for an intern with a passion for technical challenges and who work in an analytical way to obtain sustainable results. You are currently studying for your master’s degree in engineering, production engineering or another relevant field. We prefer if you already have general knowledge about systematic problem solving and key methodologies related to production optimization (database analysis, performance review etc.) We expect you to master both English and Danish, verbally as well as in writing, that you have the skills to handle a large volume of projects (with supervision) and the sound personal judgment to make wise decisions.

As a person, you are outgoing with a strong personal drive and dedication. Your strong interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations across professions, and you bring a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on. We expect you to be service minded, that you thrive in a busy environment and that you are great at focusing on solutions and opportunities.
