About the department

You will be a part of the Device Metrology with 47 employees who provide services for the whole device area at Novo Nordisk. Together with 5 other colleagues you will compose the department’s Equipment Support team who among other things is responsible for metrological counselling, development, implementation, and maintenance of in-process control (IPC) measurement equipment. We also work closely with Device Manufacturing Development (DMD) and together we ensure a robust set-up which can be deployed to the rest of the world.

The position


As our new Metrology Engineer, you will participate in designing, qualification, implementing and maintaining measuring equipment in DMS and at its affiliates in accordance with GMP requirements.

The first project assignment will be as project participant on the GOM ATOS 3D scanner project. Here you will be co-responsible for developing measurement programs and associated fixtures for the components that are manufactured in DMS. Analysis work in the GOM Inspect software will be a natural part of your work.

You will become a part of the project group implementing GOM ATOS 3D scanner which consist of a small but highly experienced and dedicated group of colleagues focusing on implementing a GOM ATOS 3D scanner in DMS. Moreover, you will drive continuous improvements to ensure quality and productivity and maintain LEAN activities to ensure a high GMP level.

Qualifications


You ideally have a master’s degree in engineering or similar. You have a strong technical background, preferably with minimum of 2 years of experience with 3D scanning technology. Furthermore, you have a solid background with technically complicated equipment and data analysis. You have both practical and theoretical experience with designing and qualification of equipment, including documentation and testing according to GMP requirements (URS, IQ, OQ, PQ). Experience with GOM ATOS systems and analysing in the GOM software or equivalent and experience with Python programming will be considered an advantage.

In general, you have experience in working with metrology within the industry or corresponding qualifications. Consequently, you have a thorough knowledge of ISO standards and ideally of GMP rules.

In order to be successful in this position you have good communication skills and are able to work with everyone from technicians, technical experts to the project manager.

With your analytical skills, you will be able to deliver quality and create outstanding results. You work with great independence, you are well-structured, and you are known for taking responsibility for your tasks. In addition, you speak and write fluent English.
