The position
As Lead Planning & Risk Manager, you will partner with the project team leadership and functional line representatives to create detailed project plans and schedules related to a new capacity expansion project!
During this project, your focus will be on overseeing the project planning and scheduling processes and success, which includes continuous monitoring and controlling of the schedule and creating data/insights to monitoring project performance.

This project will give you the scope to be involved in a new, high-profile project where you will have the opportunity to be involved in shaping a new department and representing the risk and scheduling activities at senior management level.
Qualifications
As a professional, you have worked at a strategic level and have effective analytical capabilities to be able to communicate complex sets of data to management in an easy-to-understand way, ultimately providing direction and influencing decision making. Furthermore, whilst working independently, you thrive driving initiatives and have a forward-thinking outlook. For this position, you are required to be fluent in spoken and written English.
About the department
BRD API Denmark is in Gentofte, Hillerød and Kalundborg. This is where the active ingredients, going into all our life-saving biotech products, are made by app. 500 committed colleagues. We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We are producing at full speed in existing facilities, while building and ramping up new state of the art additions to keep up with demand and new Novo Nordisk products. We bring value to patients by delivering the purest possible high-quality API made in compliance with GMP. We drive change by always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.

The position
As Lead Planning & Risk Manager, you will partner with the project team leadership and functional line representatives to create detailed project plans and schedules related to a new capacity expansion project!
During this project, your focus will be on overseeing the project planning and scheduling processes and success, which includes continuous monitoring and controlling of the schedule and creating data/insights to monitoring project performance.
Specifically, this will include:
- Overseeing all activities related to planning including scheduling and developing detailed project plans covering the full project scope.
- Guiding and facilitating risk management discussions, follow up on risk tracking and reporting.
- Resource planning from establishing and maintaining project resourcing plans through to analysing scenario planning for impact on staffing plans.
This project will give you the scope to be involved in a new, high-profile project where you will have the opportunity to be involved in shaping a new department and representing the risk and scheduling activities at senior management level.
Qualifications
- Master Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Finance Management or similar.
- Extensive project management experience within building and developing projects in engineering production/ manufacturing. Preferably, this is from the pharmaceutical industry.
- Established experience working with risk management and scheduling including utilising scheduling software e.g. Primavera.
- Experience with data analysis and presenting findings.
- Working cross functionally liaising and building relations with senior stakeholders.
