The position
As LEAN Business Improvement Specialist, you will have a focus on LEAN process optimisation. In particular, you will own our site Hoshin Kanri, as well as the process for building it with stakeholder engagement. This opportunity has a strategic overview whereby you will be driving projects, developing and implementing the operation strategy for the site.

We welcome you onboard to Injectable Finished Production (IFP) factory in Hillerød, where we use a broad array of LEAN tools and practices. We stylise it as cLEAN®, which stands for “current” and reflects the need to constantly adapt and evolve. One tool that supports our site strategy is the Hoshin Kanri, which we use to cascade from global breakthrough targets in 2025 down to quarterly team targets.

Your tasks will include:
• Developing the annual calendar of reflecting on past performance and must-win battles, setting annual objectives, and creating quarterly targets.
• Setting the direction for the site in measuring adherence to the plan.
• Data handling related to KPIs and targets.
• Collaborating with the digitalisation team to identify and visualise the necessary KPIs and metrics.
• Collaborating with department stakeholders to integrate the strategic targets into daily processes in a clear way that drives action.

Across all activities, communication at all levels of the site will be key, so you may work with our site’s communication partner and the cLEAN partners to build awareness of and engagement with the strategy to ensure it is truly alive.

Qualifications
Your experiences include:
• You hold a BSc. or MSc., within an relevant area with evidenced experience within LEAN tools and LEAN management.
• It is highly advantageous if this is in Hoshin Kanri and value stream.
• Project management and managed or developed a strategy across multiple business functions, including setting targets and managing stakeholders.
• Handling data and communicating this effectively with colleagues across the business.
• Fluent spoken and written English are required.

You look to build strong relationships and love cooperating to overcome obstacles. You understand the requirements of a regulated industry, but you see possibilities and create a vision for the future. Overall, you’re energised by what could be, and you want to work with great colleagues to make it happen!

About the department
You will be a part of the Operational Excellence department within IFP, reporting to its Senior Manager. This department combines cLEAN, Digitalisation, Finance, Training, and other site-level specialist individual contributors.
