We are looking for a Project Manager – with experience within material handling, warehouse automated transport, cranes and conveyors or similar to join our Project Management team in Injectable Finished Products (IFP) based in Hillerød.

The position
We welcome a Project Manager with experience from Material Handling (MH) or similar.

IFP Hillerød faces a more extensive and complex portfolio of projects initiated and executed over the coming years. Our existing fully automated material handling systems will be extensively expanded. Equipment such as shuttle cranes, conveyors, palletizers ect. need to be designed, purchased, installed and connected to existing systems as well as IT and automation systems, all taking account of our 24/7 running production. It is the largest Material Handlings expansion for our site ever, and it will be a fun and complex project and work packages, where we need you to help us.

As our new Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving large work packages for our overall Material Handling expansion.
  • Planning and executing all related tasks/processes such as resource management, project risk management and cost controls.
  • Developing the team and our project management processes to mature and strengthen our ability to support production by running projects efficiently

At the same time, you will be working in a large project with other PM, reporting to our project director. As a natural part of your MH part of the projects, you will be in close dialogue with the business line and all levels of management on our production site, as well as vendors. The tasks will on the other side of this current large material handling expansion is other projects from our MH portfolio.

You will utilise project management tools professionally and follow-up on deliverables and evaluate project risk. Another project management task here will also include alignment of roles and responsibilities with project members and human resource aspects.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher academic education within engineering, pharmaceutical or similar supplemented with at least 5 years working experience including a few years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • Experience with material handlings systems, warehouse systems, warehouse transport or similar, and have a technical flair to work closely with vendors and experts.

  • Project Management experience or similar experience in coordinating tasks and processes across different functions, it will be an advantage if you have experience from an GMP environment.

  • Experience/knowledge related to automation, or other technical knowledge related to installing and commissioning large integrated systems.

  • Good communication skills with experience of working cross functionally and building relations with stakeholders at all organisational levels.

  • Fluency, spoken and written, in English. Danish will be considered highly beneficial but not a requirement.

As you have a structured approach to your work, you can juggle several tasks while prioritising your efforts optimally by keeping the bigger picture in mind. You are a team player and you quickly build strong working relationships.

About the department

You will be part of the dynamic and ambitious Project Management Office (PMO), where our more than 30 project managers execute small and large projects across our production site. Our challenge is to execute an increasing portfolio of diverse projects and implementing new solutions with minimum impact on the ongoing production. From project office we execute projects within aseptic production (formulation, filling and inspection) and finished production (assembly and packaging), IT/Automation, Material handling systems as well as projects withing facility and building.
