The position
In the manufacturing intelligence domain of Robotics & Operational Technology our goal is to take advantage of the vast amounts of data coming from Novo Nordisk production equipment and ensure valuable insights in areas such as productivity, product quality and equipment health.
We are currently expanding our area and we are looking for an additional OT engineer to join our team.
In this role you will:
Participate in projects to develop new production lines at the Novo Nordisk production sites by:

We are looking for someone with an innovative and solution-oriented mindset as well as technical flair and experience in manufacturing intelligence, IT/OT, SCADA, data engineering or similar. Preferably you also have experience working in the pharmaceutical industry or in manufacturing.

Robotics & Operational Technology is a growing department, within Device Manufacturing Development, consisting of highly skilled people in the domain of robotics and operational technology. We are an innovative department who strive to meet the complex needs of Novo Nordisk production facilities and stay at the forefront of manufacturing technology.

The position
In the manufacturing intelligence domain of Robotics & Operational Technology our goal is to take advantage of the vast amounts of data coming from Novo Nordisk production equipment and ensure valuable insights in areas such as productivity, product quality and equipment health.
We are currently expanding our area and we are looking for an additional OT engineer to join our team.
In this role you will:
- Work with different disciplines in the manufacturing intelligence domain e.g. data acquisition, advanced analytics, machine learning, IIoT and cloud
- Explore new manufacturing technologies by making PoCs to prove and test solutions
- Develop scalable solutions in collaboration with suppliers
Participate in projects to develop new production lines at the Novo Nordisk production sites by:
- Defining data tags for quality and health monitoring of the production line based on knowledge from process experts and LoB
- Provide guidance and expertise on the data collection system and give input to user requirements
- Build data pipeline to the cloud and implement library for signal processing of the data
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with an innovative and solution-oriented mindset as well as technical flair and experience in manufacturing intelligence, IT/OT, SCADA, data engineering or similar. Preferably you also have experience working in the pharmaceutical industry or in manufacturing.
We look forward to meet candidates who ideally have:
- A M.Sc. in Engineering, IT or similar
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: IT/OT, data engineering, business intelligence, SCADA, or cloud technologies
- Experience in a role as data engineer, mechanical/process engineer, data scientist, solution architect or similar
- Experience from working in the pharmaceutical industry and/or manufacturing is an advantage but not a prerequisite
- Fluent in English both oral and written
