About the department
You will join Device Manufacturing Development (DMD) and the SPM team supporting packaging of Novo Nordisk finished products, primarily pen injectors and tablets.
In the SPM team our main task is to safeguard, optimize product OEE performance and maintain the secondary packaging for our medical devices and combination products marketed by Novo Nordisk.
In DMD are we bridging product development to production and driving development and standardisation of new, smarter packaging processes. Furthermore, we are responsible for establishing packaging capacity worldwide for new and marketed products in compliance with current regulatory requirements and in close interaction with the Novo Nordisk global production sites. We have an end-to-end presence from device development to production implementation and support to running production.
DMD Assembly and Packaging department is situated in Hillerød and consists of around 100 employees divided into different teams. You will join a diligent and highly competent management team and be at the crossroad between Device and Delivery Solutions (DDS), Quality and Production. We strive for excellence in project execution and to accelerate the development of innovative, smarter solutions together with our key stakeholders.

The position
As the new Associate Manager SPM (DMD) you will be responsible for:
- the performance of a growing team of proficient academics to meet and ideally exceed organisational goals
- provide support for global production support within sec. packaging.
- continue the journey of implementing BI systems as managerial tools to help prioritise and visualise impact of resources utilised.
- ensure corporation and liaison with our sister department responsible for assemble and packaging equipment and processes and other key stakeholders.
- inspiring your team towards what is best for both the business and the team.

Qualifications

- holds a Master’s degree within Engineering, Business, Natural Sciences or other relevant scientific discipline
- has experience with GMP production from pharmaceutical settings or other regulated industry
- has a natural passion for leading and inspiring others to achieve organizational, team, as well as personal goals
- excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
