The position is global and based at our headquarter in Bagsværd (Greater Copenhagen area, Denmark).
The position
Novo Nordisk continues to invest in digital solutions for manufacturing sites to enable the business to reach its strategic objectives. You will be playing an instrumental role in partnering with the business to bring these solutions to life.
In this position you will be working with complex business challenges within Manufacturing Intelligence at the Novo Nordisk’s Manufacturing sites, and you will be exposed to stakeholders across the organisation. We expect you to challenge and inspire the organisation with your development experience and lead us to new compliant standards. You will lead a team of 10-20 internal and external developers and technology partners ensuring the needed velocity to support a large-scaled manufacturing network with digital solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Qualifications
You have a master’s degree e.g., in Computer Science, Engineering, Business IT or equivalent. You have managed a team in similar or other roles for at least 3-4 years, and have experience within development and preferable how to service the business with low code tools.
In addition to this, you have:
As a person you are p ositive with a can-do attitude. You are empathetic and pragmatic about constraints and possess a strong business understanding with a strategic and innovative mindset.
About The Department
Product supply Manufacturing intelligence is an area of digital experts collaborating and co-creating with deep knowledge colleagues in the Novo Nordisk’s Manufacturing processes. We are working across SVP areas and supports the entire global network of manufacturing sites in product supply. The area is divided in four departments with the main capabilities of: Data science, UX & Innovation, Programme Management and Development.
The development department is key enablers for our products in the manufacturing intelligence portfolio and the unit act as the technical advisor when new use-cases enter the PS MI Funnel. The team will develop the POC & POV and actively secure the product blueprint before scaled development is started. In the matured DevOps products we collaborate with our Global IT development unit and CoE. The unit drives the Citizen development strategy within Manufacturing intelligence and connects the LoB development communities.

The position

You will lead a team of 10-20 internal and external developers and technology partners ensuring the needed velocity to support a large-scaled manufacturing network with digital solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Play an active role in early development (POC,POV) connecting technology and consulting the standards.
- Develop low-code/ no-code solutions for LoB together with our external partners AWS & Microsoft and colleagues in Global IT.
- Establish development opportunities with our cloud providers and their solution partners.
- Establish the technical overview of our partners eco-systems e.g. Azure and AWS services with technical knowledge of the tools (e.g. SageMaker, CodeBuild, Lookout For Vision etc.), and how to collaborate and co-create efficiently.
- Manage citizen development programmes supporting ease of use with e.g. front-end platforms such as Grafana. Power Bi and others.
- Maintain and co-create standard catalogues for quality and security together with global IT
- Building GxP compliant development standards
Qualifications
You have a master’s degree e.g., in Computer Science, Engineering, Business IT or equivalent. You have managed a team in similar or other roles for at least 3-4 years, and have experience within development and preferable how to service the business with low code tools.
In addition to this, you have:
- A passion for development and for serving our great colleagues at shopfloor with state of the art digital products.
- Experience working as a product owner, programme manager or developer.
- Great communication skills and ability to set clear direction.
- Some experience in Agile methodologies.
- Fluency in English, both in writing and speaking.
