The position
As Project Controlling Specialist, you will utilize your broad knowledge of project controlling into play to insure financial control of the project. You will work closely with your stakeholders within the project as well as outside of the project. You will be responsible for driving the development of the financial setup together with the team and the Project Controls manager and you will be able to supplement your business/finance/accounting knowledge with broad technical knowledge within pharmaceutical production. Your day-to-day areas of responsibilities include:
  • Develop, monitor, and execute cost controls through progress reports, forecasting and ad hoc analysis for management
  • Link to planning and risk management to create insights
  • Build and maintain a broad network within many different areas of Novo Nordisk to govern solutions within the projects
  • You will be a part of a newly established team which is currently expanding to ensure proper control within the project as well as sparring for project management. Qualifications
    To succeed in this role, you have:
  • An academic degree in finance, accounting, project management, business and administration or engineering
  • +8 years of practical cost controlling experience and experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP and Aconex
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to work with and visualize data and numbers to create transparency
  • Previous experience from working in a GMP regulated industry is a plus but not required
  • Full professional proficiency in English

    Our team is part of the Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Denmark Area that is located in Gentofte, Hilleroed and Kalundborg. This is where the active ingredients, going into all our life-saving biotech products, are made by app. 500 committed colleagues. We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification and freeze-drying. We are producing at full speed in existing facilities, while building and ramping up new state of the art additions to keep up with demand and new Novo Nordisk products. We bring value to patients by delivering the purest possible high-quality API made in compliance with Good Manufacturing Process (GMP).
