As Director of Packaging, you report to the Vice President (VP) of IFP HI. You will be heading up a growing business-critical function with currently 130 highly dedicated and engaged employees and will carry the overall responsibility of the Packaging department. This will involve maintaining our efficient and safe delivery of quality products and implement and ramp up new packaging lines and products focused on Novo Nordisk products of the future!
Key responsibilities include: Coordinating and aligning with the VP and with Supply Chain on production planning to meet the strategic expectations and ever-changing market demands. Ensuring financial resources, capacity expenses, personnel and technical investments are allocated to solve the operational tasks and challenges required to reach our goals. Operating in a highly regulated environment ensuring adherence to GMP, safety and quality standards. You will continuously be developing an organization that is always ready for an exciting future that calls for implementation of new technologies, a crisp focus on scrap reduction and continuous optimisations. To be successful in this position, your experiences include: A Scientific, Engineering or Technical degree or relevant as a foundation for your solid experience with production. 5+ years in a managerial position running a production department within the pharmaceutical industry, which involves leading leaders and driving process improvements. It is advantageous if this is packaging production experience within or outside the pharmaceutical industry. Familiar with issues related to production processes and equipment, and plan with high readiness of future scenarios. Experience in driving digitalisation and bringing in new technology within manufacturing and IT operations to continuous and automated processes. As a person, your leadership skills are second to none and you are able to create strong followship around your visions and ideas and provide strong role and task clarity that are matched by your empathy and business understanding. Furthermore, you can act as a role model while installing a data-based culture and a guiding behavior to empower your organisation. About the department
IFP Hi is a large production organization of approx. 1100 employees, who play a key role in delivering products to our patients worldwide. We are a highly modern and automated production facility and is thereby a production lighthouse for Novo Nordisk. The site consists of a new AP (Aseptic Production) Facility with two state-of-the-art Isolator Filling Lines and a modern FP (Finished Production) area with several assembly and packaging lines and highly automated Material Handling.
IFP HI is an important and strategic site in our global production network and launches all new diabetes products. The factory is in operation 365/24/7 and has a continuous focus on optimizing processes and line performance using Modern Technology and LEAN (Hoshin Kanri, KATA, SPS). Working at Novo Nordisk
