If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Environmental Monitoring Support team! The po sition At Novo Nordisk, Environmental Monitoring means making sure our classified rooms meet all the rules and regulations. We keep an eye on microorganisms, particles, humidity, pressure, water, gases, and steam in the production area. Our job is to handle, report, and document the results. If products or processes change, we set up a monitoring program that assesses risks and might require re-validating the rooms. We're always looking for ways to improve and do things smarter. The EM team also takes care of behavior, cleaning, and dressing. We make procedures, teach people, check logbooks, and talk to everyone involved. When something unexpected happens in production, we jump in to find solutions and solve the problems. Your responsibilities will depend on your qualifications, but typically you'll also be involved in:
  • Helping with ongoing production
  • Making sure everyone behaves and dresses appropriately in the facilities
  • Handling data in IT systems like PEMS and global LIMS
  • Managing problems and deviations

Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should have:
  • A master's or academic degree in natural science or microbiology and/or 2-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
  • Experience with environmental monitoring (EM).
  • Experience handling deviations and change requests.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowing Danish is a plus!
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities with a positive attitude.

About the department At Biotech & Rare Disease API Denmark, Facility & Projects, we support two classified API multi product facilities that produce quality products for the treatment of hemophilia among others. The department is responsible for production equipment, maintenance, calibration, and the internal production environment. We are organized in teams with daily cooperation closely across departments, teams, and professional groups. You will be part of the environmental team consisting of 16 talented and dedicated employees; 12 environmental supporters and 4 sample takers. The team is responsible for ensuring that the environment is top-notch and that we comply with regulatory requirements, including requirements in internal procedures.
