The Position To enable support for the exciting expansion plans for Novo Nordisk (NN), we are looking for some bright new colleagues to expand our current team of 18. As one of our Senior Process Engineers you will take ownership of one or more system elements within the Intralogistics scope, driving global standards for future automated processes, as well as promoting best practice. This will require both an understanding of the current operating state across different business units and a clear route to future state – one global operating system which optimises the way we utilise our material flow within our factories. Your overall aim will be to ensure alignment of requirements and need for a specific IntraLogistic system, document, and own process group to support line of business (LoB) in utilizing and improving new standards of a fully automated material handling system. In this role you will:
  • Design and implement new process flows through User Requirement Specifications
  • Document current as-is processes, map future state and conduct risk assessments
  • Drive standardisation and continuous improvements through end-user feedback sessions and document ongoing changes
  • Ensure intralogistics operations conform with our corporate risk through process validation
  • Investigate and support deviation, audits, and local implementation.

International collaboration is also an aspect of this position, therefore you will be given the opportunity to travel most parts of the world. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to have:
  • A degree in intralogistics, supply chain management, logistics, process engineer, system engineering, Chemistry, or other relevant field
  • Experience of delivering within Pharmaceutical, Retail Manufacturing, Food Production, or Automotive sectors (regulated industry)
  • Knowledge of how to digitalise manual processes/workflow packages, including how to build and test systems
  • Previous experience of delivering digitalization and IT transformation or Lean based projects
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

About the department We are thrilled to introduce IntraLogistics-ManDev, a newly established and growing department within Device Manufacturing Development. Our team consists of highly skilled individuals, primarily in the domain of project management. Initially established as a Centre of Excellence to promote collaboration across Novo Nordisk, we have since evolved into a Manufacturing Development department. As such, we are responsible for owning and standards for digitalization and automation of future generations of NN-IntraLogistics, ensuring that Novo Nordisk are at the forefront of IntraLogistics technology.
