The position Novo Nordisk is pursuing an ambitious strategy of improving the lives of people living with chronic diseases and driving business growth by supporting global projects linked with orals and stem cells. With a rapidly growing portfolio of patient offerings, we are currently looking for a Senior Programme Manager to support the scaling of the organisation supporting the expansion of orals in multiple therapeutic areas.
As Senior Programme Manager, your main responsibilities will be to: Drive the Rare Disease projects, including budgets and costs, to support the program portfolio end to end both tactically and strategically, especially focusing on a broader timing and collaboration with development of delivery solutions and the rest of the organisations contribution to clinic and launch Ensure goals are achieved within set milestones to be reported to R&D Management, RPComm, DPPComm, PDCouncil internal governance bodies Interact and obtain approval by appropriate governance body & ensure execution of the approved strategy by translating it into individual Program goals Together with Strategic Development, prepare and execute the Program portfolio strategies and plans including communication and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders Program portfolio scenario planning and recommendations regarding strategic development options relevant to boards and committees for decision Create synergy and knowledge sharing across the portfolio of Programs and ensure optimal strategic portfolio management Being a member of the Global Product Team (GPT) in the assigned therapeutic area, you will represent and ensure engagement and interactions with key stakeholders within Primary Packaging, CMC Development, Global Drug Development, Global Research Technologies, Global Development, Product Supply, Regulatory, Commercial & Marketing, as well as external suppliers. Furthermore, participate in Joint Steering Committees on relevant Programs with external, international partners for the efficient decision-making and steering of overall program activities. You are expected to lead the programme team by creating clarity on purpose and goals, driving performance through empowerment and engagement, and challenging the status quo. Your working day will be dynamic with multiple tasks and many interactions to drive activities forward. Your success will be driven by your contributions to the execution of the project, the quality of your deliverables and your way of communicating and engaging with colleagues and stakeholders. Qualifications To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have: +5 years of experience in successful Program/line management from leading Packaging or Medical Devices Development Programs in a global development context. It is of key importance that the Programme Manager understands the various disciplines of delivery systems development and their complex interaction incl. a substantial business understanding from relevant business areas Proven management skills within device or packaging development Programs In-depth knowledge of quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry as well as regulatory requirements world-wide
