To succeed in this mission, our diverse Design team is growing and we're seeking an accomplished UX Designer to join us, play a crucial role in propelling our ambition and championing positive change through human-centred design. The position As our new UX Designer you will be a key part of the Novo Nordisk Design team, working closely with colleagues across the Delivery Solutions Innovation area and the wider organisation. You will work with talented colleagues including Digital Designers, Industrial Designers, User Researchers, Engineers and Product Owners to develop patient-facing solutions. Your key responsibilities will be:
  • UX development of digital solutions from initial concept to fully refined experience
  • Driving concept maturation through independent and collaborative design work
  • Creation of design documentation for development team handover
  • Creation of prototypes for informal assessment and formal user studies
  • Planning and facilitation of design workshops for your own and others’ projects
  • The role will be based in our design studio in Hillerød, with significant time spent at our site in Søborg. About You A human-centred approach is the foundation for everything you do. You enthusiastically advocate for the significance of thoughtful UX design, and you persistently strive to enhance solutions in both your projects and those of others. You flourish in a dynamic and rapidly progressing environment, demonstrating your natural ability to collaborate. You are at ease working with a heterogeneous group of partners and stakeholders within a broad organisation. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s or a Master’s Degree in UX design, digital design, interaction design or other related design discipline
  • Have at least 4 years of experience working in industry as a UX Designer
  • Have experience working with mobile apps
  • Have experience of planning and facilitating workshops and creative sessions
  • Have experience of working in a large organisation with many stakeholders
  • Be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • We expect you to have proven, rounded UX design skills by showcasing:
  • An understanding of, and an ability to contribute to, user research
  • Experience of utilising research insights to drive the design process
  • An ability to communicate user needs through user stories and scenarios
  • A creative skillset that enables you to envision solutions as wireframes, user flows and interactive prototypes
  • Experience with industry standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma
  • It would be considered a benefit if you some of the following:
  • Familiarity with agile ways of working
  • Knowledge of Android and iOS design patterns
  • Experience of usability and user testing
  • Experience of high-fidelity prototyping with tools such as ProtoPie
  • Experience of working with physical devices and an understanding of how to apply UX design principles across physical and digital touchpoints
  • About the department The Design team is part of Novo Nordisk Devices & Delivery Solutions, an organisation responsible for the development of human-centred solutions for medical self-treatment within all business areas of Novo Nordisk.
