Then apply today as you might be the Senior Process Engineer we are looking for to join our global Tablet packaging Area! The position As our Senior Process Engineer for Tablet packaging , you will become a key member of our development projects and will be responsible for the design and implementation of manufacturing tablet development projects for commercial production and participate in developing primary packaging concepts for new oral products, mainly blister and bottle solutions. You will ensure that Novo Nordisk packaging setup is ready for the future oral portfolio, together with the team and our external suppliers. Some of your main focus include:
  • Taking the lead for technical design, design reviews, quotations, contracts, and other technical aspects of our equipment and utility requirements
  • Scoping, preparing, and participating in pre-FATs and Factory Acceptance Test (FATs)
  • Engaging in standardisation and Lean including innovation projects exploring new technologies and process optimisation
  • Participating in in-line print and colour management for foil
  • In return you can look forward to joining an international team of specialised engineers with profound expertise within their field, and collaborating with a broad variety of stakeholders, such as packaging sites around the world, Information Technology / Operational technology (IT/OT) department, Quality Assurance (QA), external suppliers… Hence, travelling activities to sites and suppliers are expected. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, pharmacy, science, or any other relevant field
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulated environment collaborating with a broad stakeholder landscape, e.g., from Research & Development (R&D) to production
  • Demonstrate experience with blister & bottle packaging and/or tablet packaging development
  • Thrive with innovation and possess a LEAN mindset
  • Be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • It would be considered as an advantage is you have previously worked with manufacturers of packaging equipment and/or with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs). Who are you as a person? About the department You will join Device Manufacturing Development (DMD) and the Packaging department. We are a key function, bridging R&D to Packaging production. We are involved in the development of new products, and responsible for the development and implementation of manufacturing capacity worldwide for new and marketed products. We have an end-to-end presence from product development to production implementation and support. We are engaged in numerous complex and strategic projects for Novo Nordisk, impacting the company ability to deliver product to the patients, compliance and licence to operate, as well as establishment of the factory of the future globally.
