The position In the role of a Process Engineer for Data Collection, you will have the opportunity to engage in projects during the development and implementation phases of packaging lines across our diverse production sites, impacting both new and established products. As a key member of the projects, your main tasks include: Understanding manufacturing processes and mechanical design of packaging lines Bringing together relevant stakeholders to accelerate future production Using data collection to increase equipment efficiency, improve line performance, increase the quality of our products, and monitor the health of our equipment Identifying use cases to improve manufacturing processes in close collaboration with operators, engineers, and technical skilled people, as well as IT experts, machine builders and data scientists Aligning data collection practices for standardised implementation across multiple lines at various sites In addition, your role involves travelling activities to sites and suppliers. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we believe you: Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, process engineering, science, management, or any other relevant field Demonstrate experience in manufacturing and mechanical design Possess prior involvement in tasks related to processes optimization Exhibit interest in data and Industry 4.0 Showcase proficiency in both written and spoken English We are looking for both senior candidates as well as candidates in the early years of their career, and it would be considered an advantage if you have previous experience in a GxP regulated environment. About the department You will join DMD and the Packaging Projects Innovation and Support team responsible for packaging Novo Nordisk’s finished products, primarily pen injectors and tablets. We are bridging product development to production, driving development and standardisation of new and smarter packaging processes. We are responsible for establishing packaging capacity worldwide for new and marketed products in compliance with our current regulatory requirements and in close interaction with Novo Nordisk’s global production sites. We have an end-to-end presence from device development to production implementation and support to the running production. We are engaged in numerous complex and strategic projects for Novo Nordisk, impacting the company ability to deliver product to the patients, compliance, and licence to operate, as well as establishment of the factory of the future globally. Our department located in Hillerød includes 40+ highly engaged skilled professionals collaborating with multiple stakeholders and striving for excellence in project execution, science engineering, innovation, and technology.
