The position
As Director of Formulation & AP Support, you will be located in IFP Hillerød in DK, but interac-tion and collaboration globally across the IFP network is expected. You are a strong people manager and you lead by example. You will have a high level of innovation and initiative to ensure that all relevant information is available to make the right decisions and ensure high performance and the best financial result for IFP Site HI AP. Tasks will include:
  • Ensure planning and execution of plans: Create and maintain high performance teams, ensure robust ramp-up of new AP facility for Formulation & AP Support, main-tain status for IFP Site HI as the launch site for IFP, transfer of all insulin analogues ac-cording to plans, ensure Authority approvals (incl. successful inspections from EMA, FDA and others), ensure full capacity utilization of the facility against demand, ensure adherence to cGMP, safety, environmental and other appropriate rules and regula-tions according to NN policies and data owner within area of responsibility
  • Maintain great stakeholder relations and collaboration within IFP Hi AP, IFP ManDev and IFP BS to ensure effective and timely execution of agreed activities, including launch, transfer and upscale from IFP Hi AP
  • Follow and improve QMS system in IFP Hi AP and ensure inspections and internal au-dits at a high level
  • Establish and maintain systems to ensure full capacity utilization including ramp-up numbers of employees
  • Manage the execution and communication of NN Way, all NN policies and procedures.

  • Qualifications
    To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Scientific master’s degree in relevant field of study, e.g. Biotechnology, Chemical engi-neering, Pharmaceutics, Microbiology, Biology or Engineering.
  • Supplementary training within relevant areas like cGMP, project execution and per-sonal development.
  • A minimum of 10 years of global pharmaceutical relevant experience including line management of aseptic production.
  • Extensive proven global project management skills, including ability to drive execution and manage complex teams.
  • Experience and understanding of managing major department and budgets.
  • Line management experience, including management of department and project management experience from complex projects.
  • Strong cross functional leadership skills, including ability to work, build relationships and get commitment from internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strong and effective negotiator and facilitator both internally and externally.
  • Manage the execution and communication of NNWay, all Novo Nordisk policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English (Danish is a plus).

    AP Formulation & AP Support is a part of Novo Nordisk, Product Supply, Injectable Finished Products in Hillerød and is responsible for delivering timely upstream processes to our 2 isola-tor filling lines while maintaining a high level of quality and compliance. The department con-sists of 8 teams responsible for clean utilities, environmental monitoring, wash & sterilisation and formulation. In AP Hillerød, we are around 350 dedicated colleagues committed to deliver-ing high quality products to the IFP network and thus to our patients.
