The position In this role you will be responsible for the strategic quality improvement initiatives in our Sourcing Quality Control (QC) department and ensure that milestones and targets are met. The role holds significant compliance and business impact. You will report to the Director of Sourcing QC. Your main responsibilities include:
  • In cooperation with subject matter experts, you will support management in setting direction for the department on strategic quality challenges and opportunities regarding GMP for chemical and physical testing laboratories.
  • Strategic responsible for ensuring high standards in compliance with current procedures.
  • Coordinate and drive quality related activities for strategic quality improvement projects in the department.
  • Prepare and plan for inspections and audits and actively improve inspection readiness.

  • An academic degree as Pharmacist, Engineer, Science or similar with relevant experience or equivalent knowledge through relevant practical experience.
  • Substantial experience within GMP, and current legislation.
  • Project management experience will be an advantage.
  • Detailed knowledge about QC processes, with special focus on QMS, inspections and audits.
  • Full proficiency in written and spoken English and the ability to fully understand and communicate in Danish.

You have a can-do attitude and a high degree of independence whilst you also like to offer your support and proactively seek out quality and compliance improvements across the area. Furthermore, you have the ability to build strong relationships with your team colleagues and communicating at all levels of the organisation with various stakeholders. About the department Sourcing QC is responsible for quality control of incoming materials for Novo Nordisk's global supply chain. The department conducts chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, excipients, and packaging materials to ensure that only goods meeting specified quality and patient safety requirements are forwarded to Novo Nordisk production sites. Sourcing QC holds approximately 100 employees (Operators, Laboratory Technicians, Professionals and Specialists) and are located at our site in Hillerød, close to our raw material warehouse.
