As a Formulation Supporter, you will have a varied daily work life. Task prioritization may change throughout the day, so it's important that you are flexible and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously:
  • You will work with formulation equipment such as scales, weighing cabins, pH meters, as well as technical systems including SCADA and PLC. Understanding the formulation process is crucial for correct equipment usage.
  • One day, you may help resolve equipment challenges by assisting operators in gaining an overview of the situation and following applicable procedures. The next day, you may be involved in implementing new equipment or optimizing existing ones.
  • Your tasks will also involve reviewing batch documentation, handling change control processes and deviations with a focus on details and problem-solving, ensuring that we can always demonstrate that the quality is in order while ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers. Therefore, you will find that LEAN principles are part of our daily work, and we systematically resolve our deviation issues through in-depth investigation using various LEAN tools.
  • You will have daily interaction with other departments to establish a common strategy for documenting unusual events and to coordinate an optimal production flow. You will sit close to your colleagues in an open office, and there is ongoing collaboration around tasks in a dynamic and energetic manner. Everyone is ready to lend a helping hand if there are challenges in meeting deadlines.
    • The Formulation Supporter has an exciting and very active role during internal audits and inspections from external authorities, in which you will also participate. When you join the team, you will go through an individual training program that gradually ensures you take on greater responsibility. Additionally, you will be part of a weekend on-call rotation, covering the period from 7:00 to 15:45, which rotates among the team's other supporters. Qualifications
  • You have a degree in natural sciences such as engineering, science, food engineering, or similar. It could also be that you have a lab tech education and have worked with equipment for many years. Interest and understanding of technology and equipment are a must.
  • It will be emphasized that you have a high level of expertise and can communicate at all levels within the organization. You should have an interest in being on the production line and helping when there are challenges, and you should enjoy preparing documentation according to applicable standards.
  • You are quick to create an overview of very complex processes and issues and solve them in a systematic manner.
  • As you will have very close daily collaboration, especially with the operators and our quality department, it is essential that you write and speak both fluent Danish and English, and that you are able to express yourself concisely and precisely when documenting events related to the production lines.
    • It is crucial that you are a person who takes the lead and takes the initiative to solve challenges, both in relation to the production lines you support and in terms of how we can collectively improve things. As a person, you are able to meet deadlines while ensuring that our quality is top-notch. About the department
    The team consists of both operators and supporters. As a team, we are characterized by our flexibility, collaboration, and mutual support. We are looking for a Formulation Supporter to join our team of 15 dedicated employees. The team is composed of both newly educated and experienced employees. The team formulates Novo Nordisk's insulin and GLP-1 products such as Novorapid®, Ozempic®, and Wegovy®. Formulation supporters support the daily operation of our formulation processes by handling technical and human troubleshooting, quality challenges, and continuous process improvement through project activities and structured problem-solving. The team is part of a rapidly developing aseptic production department where we need to deliver high production output year after year. Therefore, the department's challenge continues to be keeping up with the high demand from our customers while adapting to new quality requirements, new products, and new materials.
