The position
In your daily operation, you will work with tasks that supports our “Circular for Zero” strategy to achieve the minimum environmental impact going forward. Focusing on how our energy end waste impact can be minimized, but you will also be ensuring that standard processes linked to the environmental agenda, such as audits and yearly activities are performed.

You will find yourself working in close collaboration with the department Health & Safety (H&S) Partner and you will be an important part of an internal Novo Nordisk network for environmental partners, where you share knowledge and collaborate across the organisation.

The key to success is your ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, keep an overview of a variety of tasks, and ongoingly prioritise when you cannot necessarily predict what your day will look like.
Limited travelling is expected. To fill the position fluent Danish and English are requirements.
About the department
You will be a part of the Business Support & Facility team at Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing with 20 highly skilled colleagues and have a workday with a large degree of independence. At the same time, you will have the chance to work closely with highly skilled colleagues across the organisation. The team is part of NMS which is a Novo Nordisk production site with more than 390 employees. NMS is overall responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of Novo Nordisk's pen needles including both internal and external production, quality assurance, and manufacturing development.

The position

Your key task will include the following:
- Be responsible for driving the agenda for Environmental activities on site
- Together with colleagues in the department and across the organization, ensure that our facilities and processes always comply with regulatory requirements
- Work as a trusted partner for the management group, but also have a large connection and collaboration, with colleagues on the shopfloor
- Act as specialist supporter within fields like energy-mapping and -savings, waste reduction, plastic initiatives, or other subjects in collaboration with colleagues
- Maintain and continuously improve the local Environmental management system, plan, and execute on our focus areas
You will find yourself working in close collaboration with the department Health & Safety (H&S) Partner and you will be an important part of an internal Novo Nordisk network for environmental partners, where you share knowledge and collaborate across the organisation.
Qualifications
As Energy and Environmental Partner, you need to have:
- Significant and broad knowledge within the field – ideally from a production environment
- Academic background in External Environment, Engineering, or other relevant education and/or 2 years of relevant professional experience would be beneficial
- Understanding of legislative requirements and standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Fundamental desire and passion to make a difference within environmental impacts
The key to success is your ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, keep an overview of a variety of tasks, and ongoingly prioritise when you cannot necessarily predict what your day will look like.
- You have high personal drive, enabling you to pursue key focus areas and achieve results.
- You have a positive attitude, appreciate working independently and like to make an impact.
- You thrive with a mix of both strategic and hands-on tasks. You can negotiate the right solutions by balancing the environmental response with other business needs.
