The position
Your overall objective is to conceive and develop mechanical concepts and solutions to optimise our filling lines. You will be responsible for drawing the mechanical designs in CAD, improving the design after test interpretation, and making the ideas come to life by implementation in our global production network. Your tasks will be very varied and include idea generation, design of mechanical solutions, testing and coordination. You will be providing support to projects as well as coordinating projects, depending on your experience. The projects will have different stakeholders from AP specialists to the different production sites. You will be located with other engineers in our Innovation Hub in Kalundborg, where we test most of our prototypes.

About the team
You will be a part of the Mechanical Innovation in Manufacturing Development in Diabetes Finished Products, Product Supply. Our team is split between the test factory in Kalundborg as well as our global specialist centre in Bagsværd. The team's mission is to minimise or eliminate human interaction with our injectable products through optimisation, robotics and automation. You will work together with academics, technicians and external development partners covering a wide range of disciplines.
We guarantee that you will be exposed to exciting challenges and development opportunities, and we are also focusing on a very strongly and comprehensive on-boarding. Our team is also known as very inclusive and very open to help each other when ever needed.

- You have minimum a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Knowledge of CAD systems like SolidWorks, AutoDesk Inventor and Creo
- Experience in robotics, automation, design for aseptic processing, GMP and stainless steel is a great plus
- You are fluent in English
