As an IT System Manager, you will be responsible for one or more IT systems and associated infrastructure, which supports the production within our packaging and assembly area. You will be responsible for keeping the systems operational and in compliance with Novo Nordisk requirements and thereby requirements from health authorities. You will communicate and collaborate closely with many colleagues both internally in the department, but also with our central IT organisation.
Stable and efficient IT systems are essential for us, in order, to develop and deliver products to our patients.

In this position you will work both with practical, hands on, tasks such as:
• System and Infrastructure Management (e.g. Windows servers, Databases, Network, Configuration, Performance
monitoring)
• Troubleshooting on the system and infrastructure, incl. virtual environment and network
• IT Security management (e.g. implementing system hotfixes, patches, and anti-malware)
• Continuity management (e.g. Monitoring of backups, Recovery)
• Life Cycle Management (e.g. system upgrades, hardware upgrades) You will update or develop system design documents (e.g., Functional Specification, Design Specification), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and guidelines for the system operational processes. Furthermore, you will work with Incident and Deviation Management and Preparation of Change Requests. Drive implementation of infrastructure changes and ensure testing according to requirements. You will also perform annual user Review.

We work with various technologies such as SCADA systems and PAS-X MES system and will be provided with formal and on-the-job training in these technologies; therefore, prior experience with is not required, though it will be an advantage. We strongly believe in a very thorough on-boarding, that will bring you closer to be a success in the role. You have a great passion for working with IT and system operation and a natural curiosity for new technologies and opportunities.

To succeed in the role, you could have:
• a B.Sc. or M.Sc. within e.g., IT, electronic engineering or similar
• Experience with IT System Management work experience
• Knowledge and experience with server and IT infrastructure operations e.g., patching, performance monitoring, network understanding Our work is performed according to GMP; hence it is expected that you possess a systematic approach to your tasks which you can plan and finalise. It is important that you ensure and initiate tasks even if they have not been assigned to you. Last, but not least, we expect you to take responsibility for your own and the team's goals.

You have a high energy level and the ability to spread enthusiasm and positive energy to those around you. About the department Today, we are a diverse team of 12 highly engaged individuals. We love to have an informal tone where professionalism, comradery, team spirit and positive attitude are at the cornerstone of everyday life. We work within Business Intelligence and Analytics, ML & AI, System Management, Security, and infrastructure. The team is part of Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing which is overall responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of Novo Nordisk's pen needles including both internal and external production, quality assurance, and manufacturing development. We are organised in six departments and with approximately 400 employees dedicated to ensuring the pen needle supply to Novo Nordisk.
