About the department
You will be a part of Insulin Manufactory II (IM2) handling both fermentation, recovery, and purification of insulin. You will specifically be a part of Recovery where we clean up the active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) that are the backbone of many of our quality products. We receive the raw API in large quantities from our colleagues here in Kalundborg and deliver the recovered product to multiple purification lines, where the products are made consumable and ready for distribution to more than 170 countries. In other words, many people living with chronical diseases rely on us doing a great job every day – not just now, but also in the future.
You will be part of a newly established cross-functional support team responsible for supply chain management, warehousing, reporting, and product release in a highly engaged organisation of 200+ colleagues in total. We are currently operating one line and building two more, that are expected to be up and running in the coming years.
The position
As our new Supply Chain Partner, you will be sharing the responsibility for the smooth and stable operation of production lines. It will remain our collective focus to ensure that everything runs according to schedule and plans and that we obtain the highest possible output without compromising full compliance with our scrutinous safety standards.
You will be part of the logistics team that ensures a financially viable, predictable, and efficient supply chain for our production lines. Your main responsibilities will be supply planning and management support on capacity utilisation in campaign-based multi-product facilities.
Your tasks will be also to:
• Ensure raw material flow according to product demand and inventory policies,
• Develop supply strategies in cooperation with production management,
• Support on raw material forecasting, warehouse reporting, solve all potential issues from master data to transport management.
• Ensure correct and relevant data in collaboration with the production lines
• Managing and building strong relations with many different stakeholdersThe position will be highly visible in the organisation, and you will have multiple opportunities for further growth and development.
QualificationsWe are looking for a candidate with an academic background, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Production Engineering, and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.Furthermore, we imagine that you:
• Have an insightful understanding of supply chain processes.
• Are a capable user of ERP-systems (e.g. SAP), data modelling tools, and you master the MS Office tools.
• Engage yourself in work and deliver valid data information.
• Possess a strong analytical mindset, and excellent data management skills in order to make relevant data driven decisions.
• Are fluent in English. Danish will be a plus.On the personal level, you are customer-oriented, with an ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders, and build solid relationships. You are proactive, safety-conscious, systematic, solution-oriented, and able to set the tone on multiple tasks while adjusting your communication to different stakeholders skilfully.
