The position
We're on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Product manager for our Instant Release initiative to join our Novo Nordisk team. In this exciting position, you'll be at the forefront of implementing the future of our release capabilities at our manufacturing facility. What's more, you'll also be a key player in shaping strategies, coordinating projects, and taking the lead on software and automation initiatives. You will be responsible for:
• Leading and oversee the successful implementation of Instant-release projects.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, working closely with colleagues from diverse educational backgrounds.
• Creating a local strategy based on stakeholder input and the global strategy, ensuring alignment with overarching objectives.
• Map requirements for instant release implementation, identifying critical improvement areas.
• Coordinating projects to implement improvements, working in collaboration with relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Taking the lead in software or digital solution implementations, ensuring their seamless integration into the manufacturing processes and systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, leveraging your expertise in both traditional and cutting-edge technologies to drive positive change and enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications: • At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, automation, or a related field.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a track record of working with stakeholders at all levels.
• The ability to dissect complex tasks into specific actionable steps.
• Demonstrated leadership in software or automation projects, with a track record of successful implementation.
• Experience working with agile methodologies, design thinking, and design sprints.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
As a professional you are a proactive, results-driven professional with a passion for making a difference and thinking strategically. You are flexible and love collaborating, coming up with innovative solutions, and getting results. Additionally, you don't get discouraged easily, communicate well, believe in personal growth, and are genuinely driven from within. To succeed in this role, it would be an advantage if you also have:
• Experience with GMP in a healthcare regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong change management skills, preferably within IT & digitalization, optimization, and/or LEAN.

The position is part of the Business Support department. Our new Digitalization and Innovation team of data scientists and engineers that is dedicated to improving and visualize production data across our production and drive Industry 4.0 solutions from idea to implementation. You will join a growing, diverse, and inclusive team that is working with the most awesome projects from our production complex. Finished Products site Kalundborg is part of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD). At our site in Kalundborg, we are more than 650 colleagues responsible for transforming the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) into the finished medicine for people living with serious chronic diseases. We work with advanced processes such as formulation, filling, freeze-drying in a sterile environment. We bring value to our patients by delivering high-quality products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) in a timely and cost-effective manner as we constantly optimise our processes and invest in the latest technology.
