As an OFP Specialist within the Local Manufacturing team, your responsibilities encompass providing support to production sites. This includes collaborating closely with local teams and acting as a trusted partner to our Japanese production site, which supplies the second-largest single market in Novo Nordisk and where significant expansions are ongoing. Furthermore, you are going to play a crucial role in assisting or even leading expansion projects into new markets and establishing partnerships. You will also engage in international travel to gain first-hand knowledge of production site equipment and build relationships with stakeholders. However, most day-to-day operations will be conducted through virtual meetings.Your key responsibilities include:Providing subject matter expertise and guidance to manufacturing sites involved in bulk manufacturing and packaging of tablets. Collaborating on knowledge and technology transfer to production sites in Japan and Algeria. Offering expert guidance for handling incidents, change requests, deviations, and cross-organizational projects. Optimizing processes, troubleshooting issues, approving documents, and ensuring compliance with Novo Nordisk standards as well as playing a pivotal role during inspections and audits. Contributing to the success of our Virtual Factory by connecting production sites worldwide, and networking, including sharing your expertise with colleagues at Local Manufacturing (LM) sites and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) under the purview of LM. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine you:Hold at least a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or related fields combined with a minimum of 5 years of extensive industry experience. Possess in-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations for oral solid dosage forms, including packaging processes. Have experience troubleshooting during tech transfer and manufacturing activities. Own project management or project participation experience. Demonstrate strong cross-cultural communication skills and professional proficiency in both written and spoken English. As a person, you possess excellent communication abilities and excel in establishing relationships across various organizational levels. You effectively guide and enhance performance while ensuring quality standards and monitoring progress pragmatically. Moreover, you adopt a structured approach to problem-solving and possess a curious and strategic mindset.Your work style is typically systemic and well-organised, yet you are also adaptable and open to adjusting your plans when priorities change.About the department
Local Manufacturing is in charge of establishing and operating local manufacturing production facilities in countries where a local presence is required to obtain market access and serve patients. Our production processes encompass tabletting, aseptic formulation/filling, assembly, and packaging of diabetes and obesity care products for local markets.
