The position As a Project Manager Innovation Design, you will play a key role in designing and driving projects directly supporting our strategic aspirations across our business areas. Besides heading up innovative ideation projects we imagine that your curiosity and knowledge of designing processes to support ideation and innovative design work which lead to solutions concepts ready to be moved into the detailed design phases. You will be part of a central execution team that supports projects across Novo Nordisk API in Denmark and the US.
Your main responsibilities include: Leading a variety of exciting projects in the realms of digitalization, robotics, and other future technologies, either within specific departments or across our production units in Denmark or the US. Taking charge of these projects, ensuring their successful execution and the realization of benefits. This involves collaborating with engaged and skilled project participants and stakeholders. You will work closely with like-minded colleagues, internal professionals, academia, external partners, and the management group, actively contributing to the definition and deployment of our strategies. Maintaining curiosity about approaches that both support proper ways to include innovation and ideation but at the same time ensure that the focus is kept toward the purpose of the task. Being happy to share and facilitate training in Agile, Design Thinking, and similar methodologies with colleagues and project team members. Serving as a daily sparring partner to the local IT & Future Operation Management team on strategies and initiatives, ensuring continuous development toward strategic aspirations set by the Executive Managers. Qualifications We welcome a candidate with experience and knowledge in Digitalization, Manufacturing Intelligence, Agile execution, and Design Thinking. To succeed in this role, we imagine you to have: A background in digitalization and manufacturing intelligence, industrial design, or the alike. Holds a Bachelor or Master of Science degree. Solidly documented experience within more of the following fields: Agile execution, Innovation design, and heading projects from the very early front-end phases. Comfortable with collaboration with stakeholders on all levels in an organization Experience in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing industry will be an advantage. Proficiency in both written and spoken English is a prerequisite. Danish will be an advantage. On a personal level, you have an innovative mindset, a personal drive, structured approach, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment where teamwork is on top of the agenda. A consultant mindset and approach align seamlessly with your qualities. We expect you to be able to work independently as well as part of larger teams. You are recognized for your abilities to plan, coordinate, and engage the team members you lead. On a normal day, we will see a positive can-do attitude, a curious personality, and persistence with clear communication skills. About the department You will join API Business Support located in Kalundborg, Denmark where we have approximately 150 colleagues. You will be part of the IT & Future Operation area where the focus is on implementing solutions that improve future operations by use of robotics, manufacturing intelligence, digitalization, and automation (OT). The growing area counts appx. 45 people with diverse backgrounds which creates an exciting, innovative, and fun place to work.
