As a Student Assistant in Indirect Category Management you will join our Services team from where you will be supporting Category Managers delivering on our ambitious targets.
Your role will be to primarily enable and develop our internal and external deliveries. Your tasks will range from internal category analyses and sourcing activities to project management support.
Tasks you can expect to work on are:
• Mapping and analyzing data on current spend patterns and identifying cost drivers and opportunities in and across categories
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve our digital footprint (existing data, dashboards, reports, etc.).
• Assisting the development and executions of strategic visions for Indirect Category Management, Services in collaboration with Category Managers
• Assisting with and - as you develop – independently running various tenders
• Assisting with and - as you develop – independently managing various projects
• Preparation of various presentation material and reports for senior stakeholders and management
• Executing on internal stakeholders’ various requests
You will have significant responsibility from the start and are expected to execute and deliver on time and with a great sense of detail. In short, you will be treated as a peer in your team and get the opportunity to learn and develop.

You:
• are on the last year of your Bachelor studies or the first year of your Master studies in Economics and Business Administration, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or similar (minimum 1½ year remaining)
• have proven analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail
• master Excel based analysis and are able to transform conclusions into key messages
• have experience with Power BI or similar business analytic tool is appreciated
• are comfortable with developing both quantitative and qualitative analysis with your stakeholders
• are comfortable working with PowerPoint and interested in being able to develop and deliver clear written messages
• are entrepreneurial in spirit and adaptable in a continuously changing environment
• are international in your mind-set supported by high level of proficiency and confidence in spoken and written English
• are Interested in developing your skills within Procurement and taking the first step to a potential career within Maersk Procurement
