We are represented all over the world and now we are looking for a Student Assistant for the Product & Design (P&D) department.
About the Role
You will be a member of the P&D team, where you will support the two P&D Directors and cover a wide range of tasks with focus on design.
The position is a part-time position where you will work from our office in Copenhagen. We expect you to work 15-20 hours per week with flexibility around exam periods. You will be reporting to our Product & Design Directors.

Personal profile
This position requires an ambitious and creative student, who is excited about the opportunity to get some practical experience. The right candidate will be someone completing their Masters degree in Architecture, Design or Cultural studies or is at their final year at KEA, preferable with some practical and/or analytic knowledge of design. It is an advantage if you have previous experience from working at other relevant position. Creative design experience is a big advantage. A great flair for lighting, design and aesthetics is key.

- Planning and execution of briefs and presentations
- Advisory Board surveys (questionnaires)
- Power Point presentations
- Research about designers and designs – new and historical
- Proof-reading of texts and data
- Coordination
- Product Development related issues
- Projects in Adobe Creative (In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Ordering and handling models and samples
- Ordering and evaluate renderings and photos
- Miscellaneous and ad hoc tasks
Personal profile

- Interested in supporting P&D and cooperate with the Product Design and Brand team and the rest of the organization
- Strong incentive in improving competencies and skills within Product and Design and obtain knowledge about Louis Poulsen’s products
- Very good project management and coordination skills with the ability to juggle with many different projects simultaneously
- Structured approach to working
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work at a pace, under pressure and meet deadlines
- A great flair for lighting, design and aesthetics is key
- International experience is an advantage.
- Highly proficient in English – both in written and verbally – necessity
- Highly proficient in Danish - both in written and verbally – advantage
- Skilled in Adobe Creative (In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Graphical skills is considered a plus
- Skilled in Microsoft Office
- Great interpersonal skills
- Good at working independently but at the same time a good team player, motivated by creating success with others
- Flexible, natural drive, integrity and honest
