Defying traditional product categories, our products serve and span the professional and private lighting markets for both indoor and outdoor applications. We are represented all over the world and now we are looking for a Student Assistant for the Product & Design (P&D) department.
About the Role
You will be a member of the P&D team, where you will support the two P&D Directors and cover a wide range of tasks with focus on product and product management.
The position is a part-time position where you will work from our office in Copenhagen. We expect you to work 15-20 hours per week with flexibility around exam periods. You will be reporting to our Product & Design Directors.

This position requires an ambitious and creative student, who is excited about the opportunity to get some practical experience. The right candidate will be someone completing their Masters degree in business studies. It is an advantage if you have previous experience from working in similar positions or have practical knowledge of business, including sales and marketing.

- Desk-research for price analysis, competitive analysis/benchmarking
- Analysis of product portfolio and performance
- Power Point presentations
- Advisory Board surveys (questionnaires)
- Planning and execution of briefs and presentations
- Proof-reading of texts and data
- Coordination
- Ordering and handling samples
- Miscellaneous and ad hoc tasks
Personal profile

- Interested in supporting P&D and cooperate with the Product Design and Brand team and the rest of the organization
- Strong incentive in improving competencies and skills within Product and Design and obtain knowledge about Louis Poulsen’s products
- Very good project management and coordination skills with the ability to juggle with many different projects simultaneously
- Structured approach to working
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work at a pace, under pressure and meet deadlines
- A flair for design is key
- International experience is an advantage.
- Highly proficient in English – both in written and verbally – necessity
- Highly proficient in Danish - both in written and verbally – advantage
- Skilled in Microsoft Office
- Great interpersonal skills
- Good at working independently but at the same time a good team player, motivated by creating success with others
- Flexible, natural drive, integrity and honest
