You will join our New Technologies, Process & Solar department
As our new Process Expert you will be part of our Process team based in Copenhagen and Vejle, which is part of the department New Technologies, Process and Solar working on sustainable and innovative energy solutions supporting our customers maturing and implementing hybrid power plants, energy storage solutions, PtX, Solar PV and IT-security. Our highly skilled Process team is involved in exiting projects worldwide, mainly Europe, managing all project phases from pre-feasibility, feasibility, design, tendering support, construction and commissioning planning and supervision to O&M planning and monitoring.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Energy modelling assignments for power generation projects
- Participation in R&D projects
- Technical expertise on new power generation technologies
- Maintenance and development of energy modelling tools and smart digital solutions for the power generation industry
- Engineering of thermal, hybrid and solar plants
- Ad hoc support to project teams with reporting and design assignments
Your starting point for constant growth
From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering (Mechanical/Energy/Chemistry)
- Keen interest and solid background in thermodynamics
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with process optimization and energy systems modelling
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Following skills are considered as an advantage:
- Experience with commercial thermodynamic modelling software (e.g. Thermoflex)
- Experience with engineering of PtX, hybrid and CC plants
- Experience with modeling and performance assessment of Power plant main components.
- Programming skills (Python, VBA)
