In the role of Senior Manager of Engineering & QA, you will drive development, scaling and optimisation activities across Pandora’s consumer touchpoints, being overall responsible to ensure the efficient delivery of product strategy and goals. You will be a part of the Pandora IT, Consumer Technology department, and support dynamic cross-functional teams across Consumer, Omni-Channel and Retail product portfolios.
As the department is expanding, you will build up and manage a world-class engineering team to create, scale and maintain high quality software products. Tasks will include defining evolving coding and testing frameworks and languages, for both inhouse and third-party developers, and developing internally published APIs to enable other business areas in Pandora to write to and from the local ecosystem. In all processes, you will ensure security and privacy standards are complied with.
In addition, you will:
- Build up, lead and coach a team of Engineers
- Ensure unit and system testing within owned code bases
- Provide third line support for issue resolution
- Provide technical mentorship to engineers building and deploying large-scale projects internationally

Our department consists of two teams, Product Management and Technology & Engineering. As part of the Technology & Engineering team, you will work closely together with a talented group of Data Engineers, Analysts, Solution Architects, and Delivery Managers. You will report to the Director of Technology & Engineering and be responsible for four direct reports.
What is needed to succeed:
We envision that you have a strong engineering background, with a university degree within Computer Science, Information Technology or related. You have previously worked to create lean/agile organisations, and it is an advantage if you have worked within the Retail or FMCG industries.
Further to this, you have:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in architecting and building software products from pre-launch through maturity
- Worked in a leadership position and have experience in recruiting tech talent
- Worked cross-functionally

This role is based in the Pandora Global Office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Candidates should be willing to travel approximately 20 days a year.
