This is an opportunity to join a major project of strategic importance to Xellia Pharmaceuticals, with the objective to establish a new aseptic high-volume filling and inspection facility from the early stages. Hence, you will have major influence on the chosen solutions and implementation. After the project is concluded in three-four years, you will have the opportunity to transition into operations and continue working with the IT/Automation systems, you have implemented yourself.
The IT/Automation scope is broad and covers filling, inspection, utilities, HVAC, data collection, network, and production data center.
About the Department
You will be part of Technical services’ BI, OT & Automation team there is responsible for our production systems in CPH. The team is diverse and consists of 12 dedicated colleagues, of which four are also working with maintaining and developing automation systems. In the team, we emphasize always having a helpful and relaxed tone. Xellia offers a flexible working environment with the possibility of home office days. You will be dedicated to the project but have strong roots in the Automation team to ensure alignment and colleagues you can collaborate with. The project has its own project group, which you will be a part of. The group consists of both internal and external Specialists working on the project.
The position
We are looking for one full-time employee to work on the project with the automation systems that will be installed in the new facility. There will also be a need for integrating some of the system with existing Xellia infrastructure and service setup. This will be done together with others from the team and integrators.
As the CMS filling facility is part of pharmaceutical production, it is built in compliance with both GMP/FDA guidelines, which also means that testing, qualification, and documentation is an essential part of the job.
Taking your competences into account, you will be able to greatly influence your everyday life and the development of this position. We expect you to contribute with a systematic approach and to be open and listen when retrieving information. Needless to say, you must have strong communicative skills and be able to work together with various people. It is important that you understand quality assurance and are passionate about doing things right.
Examples of specific tasks in the position may include:
Automations profile
- creating specifications of interfaces between automation systems
- reviewing of FAT/SAT protocol and tests
- contributing to FAT/SAT (travel activities 5-10 week)
- creating protocol and test plans for tests (Xellia scope)
- executing tests
- strong automation profile with hands on experience, programming PLC and SCADA systems (Siemens WinCC, Intouch or IFIX).
- hands on experience with RTU.
Qualifications
We expect you to:
- have a background as an engineer, cand. scient or equivalent. Maybe you come from a similar position or an operational position and want to try some more project-related work for a period.
- have preferably three-five years of experience from a similar position.
- master English, both written and spoken. The Danish language would be a plus, but it is not a must.
- be structured, committed, and thrive at a high pace.
Moreover, it will be considered a plus, if you have a strong automation profile with hands-on experience in programming PLC and SCADA systems (Siemens WinCC, Intouch or IFIX), and if you have hands-on experience with RTU.
We also expect you to be able to commit yourself at all organizational levels and be a positive partner for our production units. As everyday life is changing in relation to the rate of production, it is important that you thrive in a changing environment and can take responsibility, as well as show great flexibility and patience.
