We provide consulting engineering and design services and represent a truly international and dynamic environment and undertake projects worldwide. We provide best practice advice and guidance throughout all phases of biogas, carbon capture, gasification, pyrolysis, fermentation, waste sorting and resource recovery projects from technical due diligence, conceptual and feasibility studies to detailed engineering and construction supervision and commissioning.</p><p>As Service Line Manager for Biogas & Waste-to-X you will be team lead for our Biogas & Waste-to-X team in Copenhagen (Ørestad office) tasked with growing this area – technically and commercially, via own projects and by supporting projects lead by other departments.  An important part of your role will be to act as a strong “Thought Leader” – internally and externally - within the area.</p><p>Ramboll is of the view that biogas and waste-to-X is an important part of the Green Energy Transition and has defined this as an area of strategic importance and is focused to accelerate our expansion within this area.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Your tasks and responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>To take responsibility for the leadership of the biogas and waste-to-X area and to establish a compelling vision which others are inspired to follow.</li><li>To act as “Thought Leader” within the field of biogas and waste-to-X and to generate business value by innovatively influencing the markets in which we operate and by positioning Ramboll, its portfolio and its capabilities positively within them.</li><li>From a strong industry/domain knowledge and position, to maintain client focus and lead/conduct/support selling activities by developing client business relationships and responding to the clients' requirements and needs.</li><li>To set and deliver the strategy and annual business plans for the team, managing operations and implementing governance to ensure objectives are achieved.</li><li>To be involved in different levels of project work, as project manager or as expert.</li><li>To systematically manage key stakeholders.  </li><li>To works effectively across boundaries and further develop our Nordic competence team for anaerobic digestion with knowledge sharing and development of best practices and tools and undertake projects worldwide.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Grow with us</strong></p><p>At Ramboll, we support you in your personal and professional development right from the start. In order to get started with us, you should meet the following requirements:</p><ul><li>a PhD, MSc or BSc degree within a relevant scientific/technical/ engineering field - with a strong technical acumen and significant professional experience and relevant domain knowledge;</li><li>people management experience from a similar role with proven ability to manage, in terms of identifying and developing talent, set direction for teams and manage performance;</li><li>business acumen with strong commercial awareness;</li><li>good at managing ambiguity, opportunities and risks;</li><li>customer-oriented and are characterized by a self-reliant, reliable and structured way of working;</li><li>intercultural competence and international experience;</li><li>strong communication skills both oral and written and an ability to communicate effectively with all various level of management within the company and with potential clients, suppliers, subcontractors and partners;</li><li>excellent spoken and written English.
