Are you familiar with IT support and system management, maybe even know your way around system qualification and for sure have experience in implementing new and innovative IT solutions? Then you might be our new IT system specialist in Research & Development IT.
About the department
In our department Discovery & Development IT Solutions we are responsible for operation & maintenance, development and upgrades for more than 30 laboratory IT systems used within the non-clinical and clinical research and development area.
We are a dedicated team of 10 people – all working together as part of an agile, collaborating & learning work environment, where scientific integrity and shared responsibility is key. Our team is part of Novo Nordisk Global IT and we work closely together with our IT colleagues in Bangalore.
About the position
In this position you will cover IT support to super users. You will be responsible for a handful of our laboratory IT systems, all GxP regulated, i.e. the maintenance as well as system management, you will drive system upgrades and be part of a scrum team.
Furthermore, you will be a key player in the digitalisation and automation of the laboratories where it is important that you bring innovation and passion for using IT in all shapes and forms.
Qualifications
You have completed a master’s degree within natural sciences, engineering or IT. Today you are perhaps working as system specialist, system manager, system supporter or the like and you consider yourself as an IT savvy person with IT running in your veins. You must have experience with hands-on system support - maybe even in a regulated area - as most of the laboratory systems have Windows 7/10 OS. Furthermore, you have experience in initialising and driving IT improvements.
You have a strong personal drive and an innovative/disruptive attitude. You create trustful relations and great stakeholder skills are a must.
You keep the overview of your tasks as you will be responsible for systems and projects in simultaneously work streams. You are fluent in English both in writing and in speech and we expect you to be service minded and great at focusing on solutions while determined not to compromise on quality.
