Can you lead and motivate different types of employees and at the same time maintain an overview and think strategically? Then you now have the opportunity to join the exciting journey we are on in Oral Finished Products (OFP), as we are looking for an Associate Manager for our operator team in OFP Bulk Production.
The position
As an Associate Manager you will lead a growing team of 20-25 operators. The team plays a very important role in the production of tablets as well as participating in various optimizations of the process. Overall, you will play an essential role in securing tablet production for the market.
You will be a part of the management team and together you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations.
The key to your success lies in developing independent and motivated employees through visible personnel management, by having an overview, coaching, following up on performance and setting the direction for the team. Everyone needs to know where we are going, why we are going there and what their role is in that process, and you need to ensure we have the right resources in the team. As we have a LEAN culture, continuous improvement is a natural part of our daily work.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
Having natural ability to take the lead and develop not only your area of responsibility, but also yourself, has taught you how to transfer your own passion to a team in an engaging way to motivate your employees to deliver their best in a fast-paced environment.
You know the management challenges and you have been successful in developing and leading teams so that everyone is happy to go to work and give their best. You also possess a well-developed analytical ability, and you can familiarize yourself with complex processes and issues. High quality is a trademark for you, and you use LEAN naturally in your leadership. You are trustworthy and a clear communicator who is able to realize your decisions. Finally, you need to thrive in an environment where ongoing change and priorities are part of our business development.
About the department
OFP is organizationally placed in Product Supply, which globally address 14,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 43,000 employees. In OFP we are more than 1000 dedicated employees in Måløv and the area is still growing. The department Bulk F1 will by the end of the year consist of 240 employees, divided into two sub-departments led by senior managers which will be your direct manager. For the future we have many ambitions, and we are working hard to continuously deliver our new oral medication for people with type 2 diabetes. Together we will succeed and still strive being at the forefront of the development of technology, systems and processes etc.
