In Tunnel and Underground Infrastructure, you will become part of COWI's mechanical and electrical section. We are experienced in many types of mechanical and electrical systems within tunnels, bridges and metro stations and we cover the entire lifecycle of a project from idea, concept and design to operation and maintenance.
EXTEND YOUR POTENTIAL IN A GLOBAL TEAM OF SPECIALISTS
In this position, you will join our global team of specialists and will be based in our office in Lyngby. Your primary task will be to support our mechanical design team and to assist in our digital transformation related to mechanical system design.
The position will provide you with the opportunity to work on a variety of specialized tasks and will offer you significant opportunities for skills and career development across a range of projects both locally and internationally.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
• assisting in the development of design from concept stage through to detailed design
• supporting the different specialist designers with all types of design works
• preparing part of the engineering design in accordance with project requirements, applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
• preparing 3D models, drawings and calculations
• coordinating design tasks with other disciplines
• contributing to implementing digital initiatives by the use of visual programming/computational design

- master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar
- +3 years of experience in design of mechanical systems
- knowledge of water-based systems such as firefighting, water supply and drainage
- experience with 3D model software and BIM
- experience with visual programming applications and programming in general
- solid reporting and communication skills in verbal and written form
- ability to communicate effectively in a Scandinavian language
